Ridley has moved the ball down the field 3 x but stalled.
Not sure about Ridley. Central league is one thing, but playoff teams could be a struggle.

Playoffs ?! You're talking about playoffs ?!!!

Ridley is now 1-2( when was the last time they had a losing record ?). With Marple and Springfield next ( with Harriton in between ). They could be 2-4 before October. Even if they run the table with the easier back end of the schedule and go 6-4, I don't think that's good enough to get them in

Bottom line here - they just weren't ready to play. They were out hit , out fundamentals and out coached. GV didn't do anything special but the game was never in doubt.

Speed: I understand Ridley is 1-2 and know their opponents. I'm just saying, if they made the playoffs, they would struggle. As far as Marple, I watched the FSU hs game and film on the Penncrest game. Ridley does a great job putting pressure on the QB. If they can contain Paoletti, they should be fine, not a walk in the park. Springfield, yes, they could have a problem. So, I'm saying hope for the best.

Reality is this is a very good Central League this year. Garnet Valley, Marple, Springfield and Haverford all have very good teams with a lot of very good skill talent. I think Ridley has the fifth best talent. Upper Darby also very frisky. Not many years if ever the Central goes six deep. These teams are getting better and deeper each year as more kids stay in district then ever before. If Radnor's best player didn't get hurt again you could make the case this is one of their best versions in years.

Garnet Valley making noise in the districts last year was a precursor of things to come I believe. Think we are fast approaching a spot were the Central becomes a major District factor at 5a and 6a. It's not Ridley and seven dwarfs anymore which for the league is a good thing.
