Excellent article. For every kid who starts playing one sport at a young age and has success, there are a thousand who don't succeed. John Kruk has spoken about travel teams on phillies broadcast and how bad the coaching is. This is from a guy who could,t get a college scholarship but ended up with hitting .300 over his career.
Parents are the problem.
