...and Parkland 42 Easton 7. Looks like Parkland might be taking a ride down to the Northeast in a couple weeks.

I believe Emmaus was without it's starting quarterback. He was injured in the Parkland game. The kid who took his place had no snaps prior to going into that game. It was predictable that Emmaus would lose to Freedom.

Then who was the QB against Liberty last week? Regardless, that's a bummer for Emmaus, they had a great year.

Liberty has been without it's starting QB for 5 games. They tanked after that. Liberty limped into the playoffs as an 8 seed. They were 1-4 without young Erney, after starting 4-2 including a win at Parkland.
By the way, how can one feel bad for Emmaus knowing their backup had not played a snap until their game with Parkland? They had 3 mercy rule games, and scored almost 400 points in ten games, but never got Reed into any games. Bad coaching there. Fairclough did a real good job except for his handling of the QB position. It bit him in the ass tonight.

OK EPC, thanks for the clarification. Can Freedom pull off the upset next week?

I want to think so. They have the talent and coaching. They just have to go get over the hump. Parkland is not great this year. They are, however, well coached and disciplined. They don't beat themselves with stupidity.
Look for that game to be at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown.
