The Eastern PA one is the only other one I know of. Nice guy runs it and he does some useful curating--nothing totally juvenile gets posted. But it's all one thread--and of course it's not meant to cover the whole state.
Been on this board for 25 years. I remember a couple moderators some 10 years ago or so. They didn't last long. Who runs this site? Bueller....Bueller....anyone?
Going into retirement Lil! The board doesn't really care for the coverage I do anyway and has moved on. Me too! Like relayer and Skinner Man, its been on a long time. 2008 for me.
Relayer, remember when I blew you away with a 2008 preseason rundown of every team from the 4 classes by conference?
Anyway, it has been fun and met a lot of good guys. But the condition of the board says whatever light weight is running the thing doesn't give a crap. Could be a virus or just a new group of A-holes putting up these off-topic posts.
Longtime follower need to rejuvenate the site as high school football needs to be I still follow District 1 love stalk and relayer as well. I really miss IA Delco predictions on Chester and Delco football. Any District 1 thoughts who will be there in the end? Maybe there could be a prep’s Podcast in the furture ? I heard there was one coming for Chester county? Looks like St Joes just got in another D 1 lineman and were pursuing a Coatesville stud Olineman named Max Hiller. Can’t they develop there own talent no they have to get them I understand they have to because of open enrollment but what joke !
The board used to have moderators. At one time it was a woman and Ed O'Brien moderated for a while. It wouldn't take much for Rivals to have someone in the role but they obviously don't care.
So unless Rivals takes some responsibility it looks like we'll all be joining Stalk. I know I had a narrower focus (mainly on SJP) than most guys on here, but I enjoyed all the comments and even the (mostly) good-natured disagreements.
Maybe it's my age, but I can't say I'm all that optimistic about the direction of hs football. It's becoming clearer and clearer that the changes at the college level are having a bad effect at the hs level. Colleges making offers to 13- and 14-year olds, and kids that age getting their own Hudl accounts are not helping them develop in healthy ways. Not the fault of the kids. And maybe the most worrisome thing is that fewer and fewer kids are playing the sport. Like most of you, I never put on a helmet after the November of my senior year in high school, but playing the sport with other "ordinary", offer-less guys was a great experience.
Well I sure look forward to hearing your take on teams and your pre season outlooks on District 3. I will miss you for sure. FYI I am still in remission . I was given no more than 5 years but its now been 14 . I attribute a part of this to following HS football and folks like you providing input.it gives me something to look forward to and great for my mental outlook. I hope you reconsider ,but if not I appreciate all you have given here.
One thing I wonder is will the board still be here? Aside from many guys leaving the site or no longer active, this latest episode of junk posts is an obvious attempt to frustrate by individuals with an agenda other than the board's clear intentions. Evidently the owners don't care.
About preseason and weekly write ups, that passion has waned. Been doing it for a few decades, making initial entries in 2008 on this board, earlier for friends in another reality in Florida. It's what I did, and it was all encompassing. And that dedication takes passion and most of the day (!) getting it right on paper. Living in many areas of the state for some years helped provide the 'feel' that gave insight. But that part of it is done. I'll probably hang around like others have, more in the background throwing up a thought from time to time. It's been a lot of fun and work but always fun. Thanks for the words. I always appreciated your balanced input as well.
More importantly. That is great news on your health. You always sound positive, and we know that can have real and often lasting effects on health. Keep kickin ass Lil! 14 years!

Can you tell us more about those transfers ? Are they legit and will those players be eligible for post season play ?
PCC got a DB from chartiers valley with an offer from Pitt, and a OL from mount Lebo. The DB has been ruled eligible already, not sure on the Lebo kid as this was pretty recent. They’ve also had some QB transfers/drama. The biggest one was Jaivin Peel from western beaver, ‘27 kid that broke the wpial passing record for a freshman. Transferred in and was put on the JV team (PCC already had an established senior QB through the offseason) and left. Now rumor has it he’s playing out of state somewhere. They also got an incoming freshman from Seneca valley and a kid from ringold. The big tea right now though is that the kid from Seneca has been ruled ineligible for the season, a pretty unprecedented move by the wpial for an incoming freshman. The kid himself has a lot of hype surrounding him going into high school. Word on the street though is that there is provable evidence that PCC recruited this kid. Sounds like PCC is trying to have a QB competition by the looks of it to me, they probably will have to tread very lightly if this all comes out to be true. The wpial suspended the coach from seton La salle just a few years ago for the same type of thing.
PR got two brothers from Seneca valley, ‘27 DL Dajour Webb and ‘26 WR/DB Dajaun webb. Both ruled eligible already by the wpial. Also another kid ‘25 dayne wilden came back to pr after being at a private school for a few years. Pretty sure he’s good to go as well. The older Webb should be a pretty decent WR for PR this year. Younger ones probably a year off from being a contributor.
That’s exactly my thought, they’ve had high profile freshman coming in for years now, had a few from Seneca valley in the past as well. Lehmier and PCC staff are definitely new players to the high school transfer portal, didn’t really have much free reign with it at Seneca due to not being a good program and pr due to administration micro management. Now clearly looks like they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar. Totten and company were definitely much better at bringing kids on the down low and getting them eligible. I mean this kid and his family had PCC and everything on the Twitter bio before he even left 8th grade.

I think you’ve got Webb mixed up with the cunningham kid lmao. But they do have him listed at 5’11 165, I’d bet it’s probably closer to 5’10 and 150. Everything I’ve heard from the fellow parents I talk to and my friend on the coaching staff is that he can definitely play some. Has some film playing against starting defenses in 6A as well.
I think guys like Cunningham, Neals, Timmons will be a bigger names at reciever for pr this year however.
Kids name is will toprani, played as a freshman last year for ringgold and probably would’ve been next up as QB for them this year. Instead, likely a back up at PCC, and it looks like he’s not really in their long term plans if they are trying so hard to get the herrick kid from SV. I get delusional parent vibes from some of these situations.

I don't think I knew Caveman, though it's possible I knew or at least met him years ago.
There used to be a couple of regular LaSalle posters on here--one called JB something or other, but he--along with the really irritating LaSalle guy--left many years ago. There was also another--in addition to Roxy--SJP poster named "Slam." I don't think he ever got over the firing of Brooks.
