FINAL Upper Dublin vs Pennsbury 24-14

Well, the Final shaped up as generally predicted. Good effort by the Falcons and I'd say Upper Dublin quieted some of the "Doubting-Thomases". And with NP on their card next Saturday they can really shut them down -- or start the "I told you so" chorus.
The game was not as close as the score. When I left with about 4 minutes to go Pennsbury had only crossed mid field twice. Once before half when they got to the UD 48 and on their 3rd quarter TD drive. Pennsbury capitalized on a UD fumble on their own 20 in the first half and PB intercepted a UD pass in the 4th stopping another score.
UD, is small,athletic, quick and very good team speed. OL gets off the ball as a unit and is quick. Biggest player on UD is the quarterback. NP will be a challenge.
Pennsbury like Neshaminy travels very well. Loyal fan base.

UD is a very well balanced, well coached team. They are one of the few District 1 team's that use multiple personnel groupings on both run and pass situations and their OLine plays very well together. In their game vs. Upper Darby Stover used four completely different personnel groupings in their initial four series.
The only chink in their Armour from what I see is that they are not very big and physical, especially defensively. But they put multiple hats on the ball carrier better than most teams I saw this year. North Penn will most certainly be their most pressing test.
