Pennridge scored first then 45 unanswered by NP. 45-7 late in the third when Beck called the dogs off a bit. Two scores by Pennridge against mostly or all backups made it look more respectable. Udinski with 5 TD passes.

Pennridge has a tough D, but the pass defense is soft and can be exploited. This is about what I expected in this game. The CB South- Pennridge game should be very interesting.

as i said before the Rams can score some points but their D is slow and their db's cover no one. I never saw so many guys so wide open last night. beck has a nice team this year and I know this is looking far ahead but I see NP matching up with St. Joes Prep at end. I watched the Prep/Wood game which I taped last Saturday and I would give NP the edge at this time as their QB is so much better. wasn't overly impressed with Prep although their RB hardly played and I hear he is very good

Ram -

Did you see both the 'Skins v Rams and NP v Rams? If so, how do you see NP v 'Skins in a match up (I suspect you like the Knights but what differences did you see of note)?

I haven't seen NP yet, but in reading accounts and stats of the games, my best guess is that NP's defense and special teams tackle better than Neshaminy giving them an advantage in that area. North Penn's QB is more accurate than Neshaminy's. NP plays a bit more consistently on offense, moving the ball down field in good sized chunks. Neshaminy hits a lot of homeruns. Scoring from all over the field. Not that North Penn can't, just that Neshaminy gets 3-5 long scores, mostly through the air. Neshaminy has Doba running and he has a lot of experience. I am not sure that NP'S back is quite as god. He may be, I know Doba is very good and tough though.

The really interesting thing if they meet in the playoffs is going to be both defensive back fields are really good, but can they contain this opponent?
Perk Valley has some of that too if Jaworski can come back. I haven't heard how serious his injury was.

In the end, when good teams met it often comes down to matchups.

I haven't seen Neshaminy yet this year so I can give the same idea as Marshall bit from the opposite side. The O line continues to improve. They are not huge but they are athletic and are good at getting out in front on screens, runs, or when Udinski rolls out. Udinski has done a terrific job moving in the pocket and is becoming a legit threat when he runs. He is not overly fast but will find yardage. Dillon, the RB, is a very shifty runner. He was a little banged up early in the year and they have such a good passing attack that he flies under the radar. He is tough to tackle in the open field and averages about 8 yds a carry. He is also a good receiver out of the backfield. North Penn's biggest strength is there quality depth at the skill positions. They can go to so many people. I really don't remember this many players heavily involved in the offense regularly. The first few weeks Henley was going off, last week Johns went off, this week Hubler and Thomas had big nights. Just when you think you have them contained they hit you with a 40 yd TD on 4th and 10. Thomas, Vasger, Drop, Henley, Cantanzaro, Johns, Dillon, Gorski, Andrews, Hubler, White, and Riccardi have all scored TDs this year. That will be the challenge to any team that they play.

It was never more apparent on a broken play when only three people were more than 15 yards downfield, a NP receiver running one direction, and two Pennridge defenders looking and running the other.
