Rams looked great. They had a great game plan and they didn't leave a thing in their toolbox. They played ballsy football and it showed.

It really, really got crazy out there but the final went to Neshaminy, 26-21.

Man -- Pennridge really came out ready and made it tough all night -- a big shout-out to them -- really, good effort Rams!!

'Skins showed mettle coming back from a 21-7 deficit and way to go for making that happen; however, three turnovers, a blocked punt returned by the Rams for a TD and a blocked extra point try too.

Gotta clean things up.

Maybe they were stale from "rolling" over some folks (or maybe they just figured they were "Kings o' The World" -- not anymore.

Still, they won and they're my guys so -- Go 'Skins!!!!!

Terrible play calling by Hollenbach. Why get conservative, he's playing with house money. He runs it on 3rd and goal from the 10 and then misses the FG

Is it a matter of Pennridge being physical or what? I thought Neshaminy would make a statement. They still can.

Final.First game all season I missed.. Sounds like the boys were a little nervous. Manzyk is special.

Relayer was my eyes tonight. I went to the Marple/Upper Moreland game. Nesh vs GV next week.

I need to give Hollenbach props. His kids came to play and almost pulled off a major upset. Would have loved to seen a replay on that 4th down pass that looked like the Neshaminy receiver might have trapped the ball on the drive to tie, the Pridge sideline went nuts. Skins were also aided by two big PR penalties on the winning drive, but both looked legit. As an objective observer, great game and a lot of fun considering I was expecting a blowout.

Looking ahead, nothing against Perk Valley, but I think Neshaminy is fortunate to avoid both Coatesville and NP until a possible D1 final. NP is the solid favorite IMO.

Relayer -

Gonna get interesting from here. NP, Coatesville, D-Town East, Perk Valley, Ridley, G-Valley, Spring-Ford -- there are some good teams out there.

Jones had a rough night. Had time, but was off. He had more int tonight than in the first 10 games. He needed to take a little off a few passes and then was errant with others. He hung in there though. Give the Pennridge kids credit, they were covering the Redskins receivers. Tredway twisted an ankle at some point and we only a decoy in the second half.

IronMarshal got it right, that Manzyk kid is special. Serveral key receptions tonight. I'm told the kid has 4.4 speed. He's physical, a gamer and only a sophomore. Hopefully they find someone who can throw to him next season.

Skins escape, but hopefully it was a wake-up call.

As for 4.4 speed, that's quite an exaggeration.
