do you root for teams in high school sports?

do you root for your alma mater? maybe you root against them if you hated going to school there or hate the area? maybe you root for the school district you moved to?

what about in the state playoffs? maybe you root for the west or east depending on where you live? maybe you root against the private or charter schools?

i live in the Pittsburgh area so I root for the WPIAL teams in the state playoffs, I do somewhat root for my alma mater but they stink in almost every sport so I don't have expectations for them, I root against private schools no matter where they are from

so do you root for teams or just hope to see a good game?

Even though I am a head coach in North Carolina I look back to see how the WPIAL is doing and I root for my Carmichaels Mighty Mikes
