Sure we're only half way through the regular season, but these numbers will give us an early idea of the watered down system. As of Today, 3 teams with losing records would make the 5A playoffs.

Does anybody know how the D1 seedings will look f North Penn wins out, Neshaminy wins out, and Perk Valley wins out and all 3 are undefeated in the regular season? I am pretty sure NP will be the 1 seed but can PV pass Neshaminy for the 2 seed?

In looking at the remaining schedules, Neshaminy seems to be in better shape. PV will most likely play Pottsgrove in the week 10 crossover game, which really won't help much because they are 4A and have 2 losses so far. Yes, I don't see either catching NP.

With the new D1 proposal adding 6 4A teams to 5A would this potentially remedy non winning records getting into playoffs?

In 5A District final, I wouldn't be surprised if you see Springfield vs Upper Dublin or Academy Park.

That's if I set the brackets up correctly and Kyle's right.

Nice job by Kyle but noticed he lists WC Rustin at 7-3. They are currently at 5-4 and host Coatesville this week. I wouldn't be surprised to see Shanahan or WC Henderson in the 5A finals. Academy Park still has to be the favorite though.

That was a typo on my end - the points are right for Rustin, however. I think I have a typo on Garnet Valley's record in the points and/or projections I posted yesterday, too. Again, the point totals are right - I just have sausage fingers.

By the way, cheap plug: we are going to be doing our Playoff selection show on SATURDAY this year at approximately 4:30 PM on WNPV. Our station is a Penn State affiliate, so as soon as the PSU/Purdue broadcast is over, we will go live with the matchups and interview the 6A coaches. We will have a combination of coaches and writers on to take us through the 5A matchups.

Relayer: If Kyle's projections hold, Ridley would play CB East. How good is East?

Pennridge at CB-East is an interesting game Saturday afternoon. CB-East can go as high as 8 and get a home game with a win. That's a tough game to call. I would think Ridley has the edge at home, but East's conference has been stronger than the Central this season. Looks like 5 teams from the Continental will be in the 6A playoffs.

Is the Bensalem QB out? That could have been an interesting game at NP. Bensalem has a few horses.
