I wouldn't be surprise if Springfield and Upper Dublin play for the semis
and Marple plays Academy Park in the other. I would note Shanahan will be a force and not to be underestimated.

It's sad isn't it! I' hoping Kyle, Jeff, and Kevin are right about adjustments next year. Going back to 8 teams is better.

Part of the reason it's 16 teams is the size of the district and they need to fill four weeks worth of playoffs. The winner of D-1 will find themselves in the state semifinals.

Welcome back Foot and I can see you haven't changed! Too a lesser degree I would also question 6A being a 16 field. Specifically a 6-4 Haverford whose wins have been against sub 500 teams, Penn Wood who doesn't have a marqee win and really Garnet Valley whose best win is against 5A Springfield. I want to know if went out and watched all the 5A teams? Just seems like a local post again. Arrogance is not a quality any of respect.

Sad to say but a good deal of loses in 5A are to 6 A programs. No excuse but 6A can't play up.
Going under .500 is bad but leagues and rivalries for most 5A teams will make it that way for some time to come.
Real shame for me is seeing the same teams play each other AGAIN. Nice to see cross league games this time of year.
