Missed first two scores because they happened so quickly. A couple of bad breaks/calls for Shanahan that may have made it more competitive but Deast dominated the line play and controlled the game throughout. Game was very, very chippy with a lot of action after the whistle. Don't see a major weakness in Deast game and IMO they are definitely playing like the #1 seed in D1.

Pretty good assessment. Very chippy play and never a doubt who was going to win but I think 28 points scored in first quarter? I'll need to check box score. Agreed DTE defense is playing like a number 1 seed. That was an awesome play separating the Shanahan player from the ball in the end zone. I don't think he ever had possession but for how greAt of a defensive play it was I did not have an issue. If DTE gets the offense going in a game they are going to be a hard out. I'm not sure how good they'll do against Upper Dubln or Quakertown or Pennsbury but hoping we see some of these teams playing each other come playoff time.

Shanahan appeared very disorganized on offense. Ran at least one play with only 10 players and attempted 2 plays with 12 players on the field in empty formations and the refs actually let the plays be run. This brings up another issue. Referreing has been atrocious in the Chestmont this year. Not sure if the game is becoming to fast or sophisticated to date but more and more huddles after calls, flags being picked up, lineman downfield on passes etc. not to mention watching DEast and Shanahan play. I thought the lineman were sumo wrestlers. Absolutely hugging each other. Obvious holds on every series.

The back judge ref who made the horrible call against the DTE defender in the endzone late in the game vs N Penn made another ridiculously bad call the other night in the DTW-WCH game. Hope he sees no playoff action.
