Roman had some nice talents with the QB and #10 Running back. Typical boring East game but a few nice catches by #4 Ethan Harris who also had a nice kick return and played solid on d. Good luck to Roman the rest of the season.

Nice win for East. It's really hard to get a feel on a lot of the teams in southeast PA. Neshaminy struggled to beat Roman and Pennridge, NP beat East by 16, East beat Roman by 21, Perk Valley beat Pennridge by 18, Perk Valley beat DT West by 1, Neshaminy beat DT West by 28. The old comparitive score game is impossible to apply here.

NP - I've seen both North Penn and Neshaminy and hard to say who is better. North Penn played a very good game but seemed to beat DEast on a few great catches, couple nice runs plus the great 4th and 1 stop. I thought NP was beatable. I watched Neshaminy beat DWest and the Skins offense was very balanced but DWest has a terrible defense so would like to see them up against a North Penn or DEast defense. Perk Valley could have the most explosive offense of all. Hard to gauge Ridley as they haven't played any teams of this caliber. SpringFord will be in the mix too.

If you watched that East NP game the score doesn't really tell the story of the game. DE is very very good.

Agreed CYO on the DEast - NP game. On another note no disrespect to the Skins but NP seems to have it just a little more at this point. Perk Valley w that passing game could be the best so let's see how the season progresses.

What do you mean by this? That the score should have been closer or that East should have lost by more?

The score should have been closer.
North Penn tripled East in yards, was in the red zone a couple of other times and didn't score because they went for it on fourth down, East was only in the NP red zone once off of a special teams play. I would argue the only thing that kept that game as close as it was was the East D line. They had nothing offensively. North Penn also had their starting running back out and had to use Johns back there a lot. Just what I saw. At no point watching that game, from the NP side, did I feel like East had momentum.

Although NP had the upper hand the game they really didn't pull away score wise until mid to late in the 3rd. NP had a great 4th and 1 stop and also a key interception plus a a few fingertip grabs by both WRs. It wasn't to the 4th quarter until they finally got the game in hand. Hey NP won and they are the best team I've seen so far but that was a pretty good game.

Alright and with the name NPFan, I kind of figured your perspective would be as such.

Yes, I am a North Penn fan but that does not mean I can't have a meaningful perspective on the game. As I said, look at total yards, look at rushing yards, look at passing yards, completions, first downs, red zone trips, the score, they all match up. East fought hard and their D is legit, as I said, and they deserve a lot of credit but NP was clearly a better team and the score reflected that. NP watched 3 hours of film the following Monday because they were unhappy.
