Let's see if I can break them down. Some were legit, late hit on Lauletta and facemask calls on DEast sideline were legitimate. The call on Avery Young when he hit the TE and knocked his helmet off was questionable. You can see it in yesterdays Daily Local it was not helmet to helmet. However, after viewing upwards of 20 high school games this year, referees will flag you if you do not bend at the shoulders in a tackling motion and make an attempt to wrap up in my opinion. Missed or blown calls was a 15 yd penalty on the OC of Coatesville when the refs explained to him and Coach Ortega that they were negating the Kick Return Coatesville had for a touchdown due to an inadvertent whistle (onsides kick) Coatesville was also flagged another 15 when Aaron Young was nudged out of bounds but came back in to catch an Ortega pass. I could be totally wrong but I thought the penalty for illegal touching was 5 yards. The refs marked off 15 yds. Big mistake. Finally was the Stocker personal foul where, for the second year in a row Stocker hit Young late on the sideline but no call. Stocker, whose family still owns residence in Coatesville, is not very popular with the Red Raiders, appeared to either be banged into or nudged by a Red Raider and then he sort of flopped to the ground. A back judge who was a good 20 yds away from the play, threw a flag that resulted in the last personal foul call that I remember. Feel free to add on if I missed any
