Is he getting looks from anybody? Good god does that kid have arm strength, and at 6'4, 220, he fits the mold.

I can see the big boys not jumping because he lacks experience, but if I'm a Pattiot League or CAA school, come on down son. The raw materials are there for a star at that level.

I have said it in a couple of forums, that kid is the real deal. I have seen a lot of talent at the QB position but I have not seen anyone with his arm strength, accuracy and awareness in a long time. He deserves a shot to go to a big time school in a pro style offense. He would pick defenses apart, especially with good coaching and big receiving talent around him.

What's equally surprising is that stover from upper Dublin doesn't seem to have a whole lot of interest.

It's not that surprising, Ferguson is at another level above Stover. Stover has been a starter for what 3 years now? His father is the coach so the system is tailored to him. Don't get me wrong, Stover has some skills but Ferguson possesses elite level skills across almost every skill set. He also seems to have the killer instinct that you can't teach. This is his first year starting and he looks like he has been doing it for 4. Just imagine what he would look like with even more experience.

Of course they did. I watch enough football to know that both are talented quarterbacks and will be able to play at the next level. I also know that both would be very good division 2 (PSAC) type school qbs. Maybe a 1aa school takes a shot at them. I thought you were a lasalle guy based upon a previous post in which you stated the refs were paid off by parkland.

I could see how that looks biased but I was just commenting based off the atrocity that they called refs in that game. I like watching two teams go out and earn a victory, watching that parkland game I can say that those refs decided the game themselves, which is a real shame for the kids.

I hear ya. Definitely some questionable calls. I was directly in front of the PI call. I understand the contact the ref saw but I'm not sure a flag was warranted. But if you watch enough high school games you realize that the majority of high school referees stink. There are no consequences for being bad at your job. Players and coaches need to be able focus on what they control and make the next play. But when the refs are all that's talked about after two good teams play it's unfortunate.

Congrats to Parkland for their hard-fought win. They showed great resilience in pulling their D together after LaSalle's early TD. The refs were atrocious - they controlled the game which, in certain situations, can be a good thing, but in this game they totally dominated the flow of the action. Not sure I've seen a game this season or any other where the teams spent the game 15 feet back from the sideline - why? And the sequence where LaSalle was hit with consecutive holding penalties and a procedural call, leaving them 41 yards from the 1st down - c'mon! The PI call near the end - not close enough to see the finer details, but certainly a call made-to-order for Parkland. I would have preferred a more wide open game with less ref interference, but that was not to be.
