2 great programs that seem to be going through changes, football-wise not for the better. One possible solution is an ORGANIZED alumni group---- get in the newspapers, schedule meetings with each & every school board member & school administrators. Put them under a microscope, this is something they do not like. I was involved in a non-public school, my alma mater, who, for a period of time, showed no concern & gave no value to any athletic teams(football, girls & boys basketball, wrestling, baseball, etc.) . We organized and made a lot of noise in many ways including financially. Public schools are different but if you get the word out you can hit them where it always hurts--- $$$$ . The powers that be work for you & they should be reminded of that. In this day and age sports should not be de-emphasized, they should be encouraged and celebrated.

Chuvalo,
You are correct they do not like to look bad, but at Neshaminy they are so used to looking bad that they are used to it. There is not one person of high rank that cares one bit about the sports programs at Neshaminy. The principal is more concerned about Powder Puff Football and Gym Night rather than going to a baseball or a softball game and the Athletic Director cares more about a Dodgeball tournament than he does about his Soccer or basketball programs. They show no support whatsoever. The facilities that the kids have to play on are a direct reflection on the AD and how much he does not care. The baseball and soccer fields are surfaces that I would not let an animal run around on for the fear of the animal getting hurt. When my son goes to his games throughout the state of New Jersey, the first person to greet the teams are the hosting AD or administrator welcoming them. Not only does this guy not greet or welcome a team to his facilities, he doesn't even make himself seen for his events. The days of athletic programs being the focus of Neshaminy High School are finished, you're 100%, they do not want a bad name or be embarrassed, but the bigger thing is they don't care. They don't care if the look bad and they don't care of what others think. They are all just going to kick back and collect their 100k and laugh. It will not change. Sad, but the truth.

Public schools are just that, Public. Every sport, organization are equal in a public school and administrations today take that approach. Football, 18 other sports, band, choir etc. parents all have 1 vote for school board. Nice idea though.
