In a shootout featuring no punts and over 900 yards of offense, the Bucks outlasted the Knights at War Memorial in a game that Bucks fans will remember for a long time. Easy to criticize the defenses, and it's certainly deserved, but Eli Boehm was really special for West on Friday night. 27 carries for 335, 3 rushing TDs and a TD catch for another 27. Cherubini added 57 more on the ground as the Bucks totaled 390 on 44 carries. (Total offense 522) McFadden had 2 catches for 87 yards and a TD, plus chipped in a huge recovery on a kickoff and the game sealing interception. First time in 22 years that West is in the District Semis. Big accomplishment for a team that is young, very undersized, and plagued with injuries. (4 defensive starters now out for the season)

1. North Penn still has a talented squad, and can put up points in a hurry with seemingly unlimited quality backs and the best QB in the league. Coach Beck had his guys ready to play, and they were punishing the small West D-line in the first half.
2. West is now 7-1 since their 1-3 start, the only blemish the rivalry loss to CB South in a very poor performance.
3. At one point in the first half, there were TDs scored on 3 consecutive snaps. 81 yard quick screen to McFadden, 60-70 yard NP run and then 80 yards by Boehm.
4. This might be the best coaching job yet by Rowan and staff in his tenure. I believe West led the SOL National in scoring defense while finishing second.
5, Game turned on a squib kick that skidded all the way down inside the NP 5 yard line, and McFadden took it from two NP players.
6. NP scored 3 points in the second half, only had 2 possessions (FG, then Int)
7. McFadden's pick to effectively end the game was a crazy, acrobatic grab over NP's big TE.
8. West beats both CB East and North Penn twice in a season.

Bucks will travel to Perk Valley on Friday night.

Looks like a super tight one with both having representative schedules, PV losing to Roman, CB to G-Val, Up Dub, Psb, CBS. What Perk Val has done in light of extreme injures is impressive winning the PAC again with a soph Qb at 67% (Koehler out G-2).
Hats off to Bucks getting through the gauntlet of conference rematches that is wicked. Ditto in the EPC, Mid Penn and Wpial.
Stats screaming 1-2 point game, but that's just math, no emotion.
