How in the world do you give a kid a heads up when the NCAA rules state you can't contact the player until the end of his season in his Junior year??

Rule starts when you are in high school. As crazy as it sounds, not applicable to 8th grade. Also, you walk on campus....conversations allowed. Not sure I would even want my 8th grader in that spot.

None of these verbal "offers" or commitments are binding, really doesn't make a difference, just status positioning.

Really want to see early recruiting spinning on it's head, follow the Div.1 NCAA lacrosse scene, that makes the college football stuff look like kid's hopscotch!
