Bucks County Redskin Semi-Pro Reunion

I haven't posted here in a long long time. Thought I'd give this site a shot to help get the word out.

If there are any old Bucks County Redskins out there we are having an informal reunion at Katie O'Donnel's (near Franklin Mills Mall) Saturday 5/13 at 3:30. Hopefully it is a shot free and glass biting free zone.

Shall I notify the Venango Bears so they can come up there and kick their ass like they did back when they played! Damn Bucks County Redskins! Haven't heard that in awhile. Those were some good times going down to Bridesburg Park to watch the Venango Bears play teams like the BC Skins, West Oak Lane Cougars, Vagabonds, Bridesburg Eagles and the Somerton Stars. Some good football was played down there.

Didn't The Redskins start play after Somerton folded? Boy do I remember McGuigan and Hilton manning the LB spots. What a tandem. Ziggy was a great QB for the Redskins. Can't remember his name but the Redskins had a smallish Nose tackle who used to give teams fits. Used to see him at the Acquatic Club back in the early 80's. How about that Chest-Mont squad. Can't remember his name either but they had a safety that used to play for the Lions that was a beast.
