IMO IC put the ball in the QB hands to make a play too much. Extremely talented team, but the QB is Ken Dorsey at best. Surrounded by a bunch of talent and speed. Coaching also seemed off a bit. There was times Prep played 9 in the box and the slot was played by a safety 10-12 yds off. #5 their senior play maker was in the slot. I screamed at the screen just pick the ball up and throw it at him. Hate to play Friday morning QB. Congrats to Prep for getting the payback win.
Ken Dorsey!! I wouldn't say Ken Dorsey because he's very athletic and can make plays with his feet. Safety playing the slot man up and bailing pre-snap putting him at like 15 yards from the LOS. IC could have won that game by throwing 4 or 5 bubble's. Prep did a good job of limiting the big plays.
IC had not been tested for 4 QTR's. It showed. Good win for ECP.
Yeah Ken Dorsey was a reach, it was more of about acknowledging the depth and talent that surrounds him. Glad I wasn't the only one who thought that man coverage should have been exploited. Bubbles would have kept them honest.
Imhotep gave that game away and were the better team, IMO. But credit ECP for matching thru the door once 'Tep left it open. They scored 18 points in 4:01 game action.
Better? No. More physically gifted? That I may buy. A team that gets a TD nullified by 7 or 8 penalties on the same drive (inside the RED zone in fact) is an undisciplined and therefore a bad team. Usually Tep's physical gifts are enough to overcome these lapses. They finally ran into a team that could keep the game close enough for things like this to matter. I could not find a box score but I wonder what the final penalty total was. It has to be a staggering number.
