I’ve seen many post on here saying “what’s the best game you’ve watched?” Well I want to know what’s your best/favorite game you have played in. I assume most if not all of you have played high school football.

I’ll go first: my favorite was playing in the 1973 WPIAL championship. We (Lebo) played New Castle. We lost 3-0 on a last minute field goal. But it was a great experience playing at Pitt stadium.

doesn't look to be the case, often times the biggest sports fans are guys that weren't good athletes themselves and guys that were good hardly pay attention to it

I remember Troy Polamalu saying the only football games he ever watched were game films in preparation for the next game

my best memory, 1998 beating Upper St. Clair for the first time in school history and being the first conference opponent to beat them in about 10 years

they were defending state runner up, but they weren't a good team in 98 and missed the playoffs

A couple times beating the rich kids from Camp Hill. But the most memorable was Pee Wee league at the Rec Park in Gettysburg upsetting the Packers, me quarterbacking. Creative stuff like smash left, smash right (me handing off to my bud) or sophisticated routes like....'towards tennis courts' or, 'just get open', I'll get it there.

Freshman year beating Father Judge to end an "0 for" 2 or 3 years for the freshman team. Big fight during the game. Families got involved from the sidelines. But we won!! I think it was Judge. Might have been Cardinal Dougherty. Long time ago.

My Junior year 1987 Carmichaels vs Jefferson Morgan. they ended up winning the conference but we beat them that night with two touchdowns from your truly

Mt. Carmel vs Shamokin aka the Coal Bucket rivalry game. The atmosphere is hard to beat in HS football playing in front of 8k+ people
