The last I heard was that both schools were attempting to schedule games, but nothing since then.

Just our of curiosity, if Lasalle and St. Joes play a limited 3-4 game schedule this fall, and there are no District 12 playoffs-how will state playoff participation work ( assuming there are state playoffs)?

And, if the PCL comes back in some form in early 2021, will those 2 squads be eligible to particiapate, or does playing this fall preclude them>

My understanding is that they'd have to play at least four games this fall. I'm guessing that they would play a "regular season" game against each other and then a playoff game. The winner of the latter would go to the PIAA playoffs. probably against the D11 6A champion.

In the very remote chance the PCL plays football in early 2021 I can't see either team being part of it.

LaSalle obviously has at least two games other than SJP lined up, but despite a bit of snooping around I haven't heard anything about SJP yet--other than that last week they were still looking, including outside the state, for a few games. If they don't have a couple of games, other than LaSalle, secured by tomorrow, I can't see a season.

Relayer,Stalker or Tulla, anything about st Joes yet ?

Phl Inq today: 'LaSalle also has tentative plans to play two other games this season, against Dela Val in Milford, PA on Oct 2 and vs traditional rival St. Joe's on a date to be determined'....so that's at least day old info.
They also mentioned the game vs Township as against a powerhouse which is a reach. Fellow Lan Leb Conf Wilson for sure but not Twp who while they've had a heck of a run the last three (33-5), and an awesome team last year, they went 70-43 (62%) the 10 previous years. Not exactly "powerhouse" status. For the record, they graduated 21 full time starters. So I believe it's Township who's playing a "powerhouse" this year. They'll battle but are starting many backups, tho some were in the rotation as per the write-up Top 10 below. Hopefully a good game.

Sorry for messing the post up. Wanted to say Tulla and others will know much more about PCL and D-12 than me.

The Prep has suspended in-person instruction till the 24th--not a great sign for football but not necessarily the end of the season.
Tulla -

They have also moved classes to virtual as they had two positive cases in the student body, so I believe everything is on hold for 10 days which is the newest time frame for quarantine.
It’s unfortunate as you’ll never see a team with 3 top 100 players again. Those three will not play and have enrolled for January classes at their respective universities. I believe a number of other players may forego the season as well. They can field a team, just not what people were hoping to see.

Meanwhile, I expect the Central League to pull a Big 10 and reverse their decision to forego fall sports and start with limited schedules in October. More details to come.

St Joe Prep opens their season this Saturday.

I hope fans can attend . If anyone has updated info on this I would appreciate your sharing . I know Wolf allows 25 % of capacity ,but do not know how this will be enforced .

My sources tell me La Salle is playing Downingtown East this weekend. This is the first I've heard of it but my sources are never wrong!! Unless they've been drinking!!

DTE was supposed to play DTW, but COVID strikes again. Good that DTE and LaSalle were able to work it out on short notice.
