Al Crosby hiring

I hope that this letter reaches you. It is my intent in writing this letter to you that you really take a closer look into the coach that you are pursuing to hire as the new HeadCoach of your football program. As a community member who was personally affect by the actions of Coach Al Crosby there are many concerns regarding his ability to abide by the ethics of a High School Football program

In following the season of the Imhotep Panthers, there was been numerous shady activity going on regarding the former Head Coach Al Crosby. To the knowledge of the community he was unable to properly manage the funds for the program. It was an agreement for a set amount of money to be paid for his services rendered to the program. In a clerical unfournately the former Head Coach was over paid. He was then ask to return it back or termination would occur. In response Mr.Crosby chose to step down from the program without returning the agreed amount.

As a community member who does not want to see the program suffer sue to these unacceptable actions felt compelled to inform you of this his gross misconduct. His actions have placed the program in a very tight place. If you in any way could just take a closer look into the prospect that you are pursing, it will unveil more information as to the type coach he is when running programs. In damaged the trust of the program as well as the community. The program has worked extremely hard to remain competitive in high school football, and would hate to see all that hard work tarnished by one mans gross negligence. I appreciate you taking the time to read this and hope that you take these concerns into great consideration.

Not a wood coach just a concerned parent just trying to figure out why they are hiring him without doing a real backround check .... if he step down from Imhotep and the job opened back up why not go back to Imhotep instead he's trying to go to NG that's not a red flag to people

If the school was cutting additionally checks who was signing off on them. If you are concerned shouldn't your concerns center around students test scores, a revolving door of teachers versus an after-school activity. Lastly, I believe this is a smear campaign against Crosby.

Can't say all, but it's fact that key contributors are planning to leave and attend goretti. Heard this from the parents mouth themselves.

The only thing I'm wondering is, the Basketball program is the best in the city. Is their enough money in the school athletic budget for Crosby to bring in the kids who may be very good athletes but may not be able to afford the tuition?

I think that's everyone's concern bc they have enrollment problems already. I doubt if they can afford much.

NG's president resigned recently. Not sure if this impacts a potential hire.

Sure hope this isn't true.All I have ever heard were good things about Albie and how he helps his players and how he built the program. Why did it take so long to get this information ?

Romeo, that is what I heard/observed as well. He was stern but fair with his players; he worked hard to get his kids to the next level; and he brought his Imhotep team to the viewing of Ryan Gillyard, the SJP frosh football player, in force. A class move.

If Crosby is hired as HC at NG and is given some help from administration, he will be successful there. That program will be more than respectable in two years. HS football isn't about the X's and the O's. Talent wins.

Agree for the most part. I just wonder how much help an administration can give when it struggles to pay bills now.

Also, location isn't as prime as the northwest section of the city. Not too mention a little obstacle called tuition.

But becoming respectable is without a doubt feasible.

He's the pied piper of HS football and kids will follow him
