It's all subjective and for that part, it's obvious that the picks were weighted but the bigger issue is this guy remains a slanderous hack ... the new Steven A Smith

I didn't realize the pub was LOADED at LB. Looks like every Imhotep player made all-city.
I don't understand how you can roll out an all anything team when you haven't even seen a LARGE majority of the teams in the city play.

It is what it is. Ace keeps in line with mostly seniors on the team. Seems to be an intermix of the first teamers from the pub/pcl/interac. I see the Prep guys, Wood guys, on there.
Prob a few too many Tep guys. A few guys left out, but what do you want in a big city?
I would counter back and say just because you didn't see a guy play doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to be included.

I'm perplexed. How does a 1st team All State OL (as voted by the PA football writers) not make any the list of "Ace" Carter's City All Star teams? Granted, I'm old enough to be cynical about both lists. One could have been looking at the potential for the kid to be a star in college, while the goal of the other may have been to 'spread the wealth'. In any event, how can Lynch from SJP gain All State accolades while somehow escaping the attention of a local guy, who doesn't have Lynch included among the three teams he listed? IMO, 'Ace' should reevaluate his selection process.

Ace seen SJP play 1 time this year. Ace spends most of his weekends at Pub and Inter Ac games.
Haynes from Roman and Barry from West have identical WR stats and Haynes had another 400 rushing yet Haynes was originally left off of Carter's list and Barry was named 1st team. One of many examples of Ace not really knowing City football outside of the Philadelphia Public league.
