A Stoga coach speaks out

I'm not sure how much fabrication to the story or not but on the DA piece It sure seems like Hogan wants to make a big name for himself whether the crime warrants it or not.

2 things that I found interesting in the news accounts are:

1. The school allegedly did there own investigation( independent of the DA), and they concluded that there was at least a "NO GAY THURSDAY'. And while that does not confirm the broom incident, it does appear that Thursdays were interesting at Stoga.

2. DA and other news outlets keep saying the hazing incident and sexting incident are totally unrelated, which appears to be somewhat inaccurate. The victim in the hazing incident was the perpetrator in the sexting incident. He was kicked out of school for it and hired lawyers to get back into school. So there was already bad blood between the kid and the school. Furthermore, the possibility exists that some of the pics in question were of younger sisters of current football players, which only further alienated the kid from his teammates.

I wonder how much money the kids family is going to get dam, especially from rich district
T-E will be paying the kids tuition to some private school on the Mainline. They're all pretty good. Yeah.. The family will pocket some money. I'm sure w the districts reputation they'll want make this go away soon. I hear what the coaches and parents are saying that this doesn't add up but the police department and courts can subpoena all the kids so they have the legal power to get more info vs. the school district.

WOW!! This thing really has taken on a bigger picture. I hope this is not a replay of the Duke Lacrosse team incident as Yesman suggested. I don't know what happened but I think the DA went a little too far when he started pleading his case in front of the media. Could it get any uglier??

Paul,
Don't know how this is going to play out, but freaky the similarities?

-Scorned victim
-Aggressive D.A. very demonstrative to media before full discovery completed.
-Coach/players passionate regarding their innocence.
-A alleged stupid non-criminal act escalates into alleged criminal act. "No gay Thursday" & Duke stripper party.
