It's all about the gate. They should have left it at 8 teams.

Part of the issue is many of the 5A teams in the Central, Chesmont and Sol division (with Quakertown) are forced playing 6A schools in league games which they will never compete. Shanahan should be playing 5A Marple, Springfield, etc (or Rustin, Unionville, Great Valley) and not DEast, Coatesville, etc for league games. Penncrest should not be playing Garnet Valley, Upper Darby, Conestoga, etc.
