    I thought the McCord Prep team was the best I ever saw ,that is until this past year. In my opinion , this past years squad was just a monster group led by a stud QB.

    But they are at least reaching out to get that recognition of playing top ranked team. The prep had their share of bumps years ago doing the same.

    I believe both teams move up in class next year so they have no chance of meeting in a playoff format . This is a matchup I would like to see next year with 2 outstanding running backs in the game . Any chance this taking place ??

    I thought Cooper Taylor from CB West would be offered as a DB.Carroll from CBEast ,a Junior has been offered by several Schools including Penn State.

    Not that I care ,but I read somewhere that SC utilizes a pink shirt strategy at times and several players have been held back a year to gain an athletic advantage. Again ,I dont care and not sure if this is reliable info,but thought I would mention it because SC comes up quite a bit.

    I liked when coach Walker stated that PCC is not the same as the Prep,he never had players from Ohio. I would say that if they wanted to go to PCC he would have taken them in a heart beat.They just didnt want to go there because they had their own good programs to attend in Ohio.

    Also it seems the Phila .region did not get much recognition until District 12 joined the PIAA. At least thats what it appears.

    Takeaway from worst year in piaa Championship history 2023

    Tigers played hard. Liked #47 and the QB. Gutsy !! Semaj Jones stole the show. He runs like a fullback but with speed.. His passing, and decisions were on target. Cincinatti is getting a good one.

    Semaj Jones is a tremendous weapon. He is a stud running the ball. HE punishes tacklers.
