    I know this may get some backlash and I'm OK with it because it's from a solid source, but Wood did submit his name for the Malvern job. His name was brought up to some Malvern people and it was not taken too kindly.

    If Temple hires a HS football coach they are the dumbest college on this planet. There are thousands of applicants with finer credentials. I think the usual progression happens like this: Successful HS coach> College position coach> College Coordinator> College HC.

    They are doing a tremendous job and have the experience to make a serious run in the playoffs. I think that comparison is a little deceiving. Considering the demographics, you cannot compare a mostly affluent area to and low income school and expect similar results.
