    Neshaminy -Tennent

Neshaminy Homecoming. 14-7 Redskins at half. Good news for Skins is that Sheehan is back from injury. Skins McAndrew was picked off at the goal line by Tennent preventing another score. Tennent had a real nice scoring drive. Mc Andrew is running well for the Skins, but he was also running for...

    Final: 'Skins 35 - Fords 7

The thing with Neshaminy is they can play that ground and pound running game, but they are also capable of throwing the ball well. Joyce, O'Connor, Manzyk and Cannimore are all excellent receivers and McAndrew is a very good throwing QB. Film study said the way to beat Haverford was a smash...

I don't see a problem with being optimistic. I think everyone will be happy to get to play Coatessville. It will mean several playoff victories and a District final appearance. That is a very successful year, especially for a tree loss team. Along the way, there is opportunity to reverse a...

Pennsbury at Garnet Valley postponed tomorrow 7pm

Maybe just using the home field advantage thing. GV triple option requires a lot of ball handling, hand offs, pitches, cutting while running etc. It may be they'd much rather play in dryer conditions. That would be a really intelligent use of home field. Why not set your team up for the best...

    District 1 6A Predictions

I can speak to Neshaminy. Their defense has been really good lately, and strong against the pass. They have quite a few interceptions and a lot of QB sacks and hurries. Their biggest issue was sloppy tackling through the first half of the year. The question on Manzyk. He only carries the ball a...

    Haverford High

Manzyk is not Neshaminy's primary ball carrier. That would be 1000 yard rusher Chris James, a small quick tough little dude who has been slicing and dicing defenses for the Las t few games. Manzyk gets a few carries per game.

5-5 actually, but they were down overall. Played two pretty good teams,Truman and CRS, pretty tough though.

Rivalry game, records routinely go out the window with these two. Common opponents records and scores similar with the exception of North Penn who owns Pennsbury. PHS may be down, but it's not like the Skins have been killing it. Neshaminy is looking better, and beating Pennsbury is always a...

Neshaminy dominated Pennsbury in every phase of the game. Two very good efforts heading into the playoffs. The first round opponent better be wary.

Neshaminy dominated Pennsbury in every aspect of the game winning 35-7. They ran (James with another great game), they passed (McAndrew was very sharp), the defense stopped the run and the pass all night giving up a late score. They even were successful on 5 PATs. That has been a sore spot all year.
