Final - 4 OTs: La Salle 35 - St. Joe's 34

It was a naked boot off a play action fake. So you’re depending on the DE / OLB to be fooled by the fake… there’s no one there to block. My only guess is they did see something on film that they weren’t disciplined on the backside. On that play, they were The kicker / holder / LS converted multiple FGs and XPs in OT. I’m waiting to see if he explains in an interview somewhere.
Doubt if an explanation is coming. That decision blew the game. Kick it on 3rd in case of a fumbled snap you get another shot. They’re kicking (no pun ) themselves today for that decision.

Was the kicker or holder injured? Otherwise I guess they saw something on film. But you gotta block!

Oh ,and I believe I was the only one taking LaSalle . Yes I was the proverbial squirrel finding the nut.
Bone-headed call to roll out the sophomore QB towards the near sideline. I could see a straight run if they had a timeout left--and I think they did. And of course it would have made sense just to go for the game-winning field goal with a good kicker.

Not sure the call for LaSalle's two-point conversion was a good one but the tipped pass just went in the right direction for LaSalle.

Odd that no one on the broadcast noted that West didn't play after some point in the second quarter and Billups was out for the last couple of overtime periods.

Rematch will be very interesting. Foulkes has potential but the three interceptions showed his inexperience.

Gordan outcoached Roken for sure this time around. West must have gotten hurt, but his replacement was solid. Obrien was a difference maker for lasalle. Great contest ,rematch should be just as exciting.

Week 7 Scores

You could see 7-3 . Probably middle of the pack spot in the playoffs.

Reality is NP kinda beat them up (and I see CBS shut Knights down).

The CBW game wasn't a smackdown as much as a slow meltdown.

CBE and Pennsbury are probably teams they can beat but I'm not seeing CBS as it currently stands.

Not world beaters but getting back to the playoffs would be nice after the last 3 or 4 years (and a step in the right direction).

Week 7 Scores

A little surprised.

'Skins have gotten all the breaks and calls, for sure. And they had that punt return TD called back (could be 38-3).

Final.

Overall Neshaminy played a pretty nice game (Pennridge seemed slow to the party (right from that 70 yard first play in the game run by 'Skins' QB that gave Langhorne a quick 7-0 lead). Maybe there can be some momentum from this win (almost seems weird thinking 5-2 is "pretty good").
I was surprised by the score, really thought this was a close game on paper. I was at the game, and thought that Neshaminy really out-coached Pennridge. PR was much smaller up front than I realized. To your point, at 5-2 are the Skins a team that’s poised for a playoff run or pretenders? Good chance now that they finish 7-3, if they can maintain this level of play. The QB is the real deal and again made some special throws. The out route in the third quarter that turned into a TD he threw right on the money well before the break.

Final ends up being 38-3 anyway after that last score by Langhorne (I don't think they meant to get it in - just run out clock but hard to keep kid from trying).

I watched end PR game when I got home. Neither PR or PH is great by any stretch.

PR nice run game with QB and RB, but I didn’t really see much else. PH is PH. And you could say PR is new PH.

I saw BP vs Mars and BP is way more physical and “good looking” than either of those two. Have not seen Peters or USC yet n
Yes, I would agree. There ae few things about PR that I thought would be better by now, but not. I think i may eat my words, the South conference may be stronger/strongest- South Fayette put up a good fight. BP and USC legit, and Peters not dead yet. As I've said before, the biggest problem w PR is inconsistent coaching, constant changes.

But yes, it's gonna be a dogfight.
